About Me
Hello! I’m Ashten Strawser, CEO and founder of Pawramedics Relief Network pllc. I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician based in Colorado and have been working in veterinary medicine for over 10 years. The last 7 years have been primarily devoted to emergency & critical care, and I’m proud to be pursuing a VTSECC designation 2027-2028. One of my favorite aspects of veterinary medicine is that there is always more to learn and in doing so, I can give the highest quality care to every patient. My goal is not only to provide hospitals with a highly qualified RVT they can trust in a clinical setting, but to also help technicians of all levels gain the skills & confidence to advocate for themselves and their patients. From low-cost-high-volume General Practice to 24/7 Specialty & ER hospitals, I can confidently say that I’m comfortable jumping in to support wherever help is most needed.

About PRN
Many questions run through practice managers’ and owners’ minds when faced with a last minute call-out, extended PTO request, or unforeseen staffing changes. Will anyone pick up the shifts? What wage is enough to catch attention? Will they be “an extra pair of hands” on the floor or a skilled clinician to facilitate advanced care? Have they worked in an emergency setting or specialty hospital before? Can they hit the ground running or will they need extra support? Meanwhile, technicians and VAs are fighting burn out & compassion fatigue trying to carry their shifts through busy days wondering how much actual “relief” they’ll have that day.
Pawramedics Relief Network pllc is my answer to understaffed, overwhelmed animal hospitals across Colorado. I remove much of the guesswork for practice administrators by providing consistent, reliable, advanced-level care that hospitals can trust and teams on the floor can rely on. I founded PRN with the goal of lessening the weight that a short-staffed day puts on the shoulders of those on shift as well as equipping teams with the knowledge & skills to provide the level of care that every patient deserves.
